EPFO
- EPFO - one of the World's largest Social Security Organizations.

Organizational Structure

Employee Pension Scheme (EPS)
- Administered by EPFO and initiated in 1995, replacing the Family Pension Scheme (FPS) of 1971.
- Provides employees with a pension upon reaching the age of 58 years.
Enrollment of Scheme
- Automatic membership for individuals joining an establishment covered by EPFO.
- Eligibility: Employees earning a base salary + DA of Rs.15,000 or less.

Regulation of Opium

- Opium crops are sown only in designated tracts of land as notified by the Central Government.
